In an era defined by rapid digital developments and evolving commercial frameworks, the significance of staying updated on the legal developments touching upon such matters cannot be overstated. The European Circuit is therefore hosting an event at the Court of Justice of the European Union, featuring two distinct panel discussions, each dedicated to addressing important matters in this context.

Panel One: EU Competition Law

Join us in Luxembourg on 25 April 2024 for a chance to gain valuable insights from our distinguished speakers, learn how to navigate through the intricacies of recent litigation, as well as participate in the meaningful exchange of ideas on the future challenges in these particular fields. All speakers and attendees are invited to join a drinks reception after the panel sessions at 7pm, which will take place outside the Grand Chamber of the Court of Justice (Palais), followed by dinner in the Court itself. There is no charge to attend the panel sessions or the drinks reception but there will be a fee of €55 if you wish to attend the dinner.

Registration will be open from 14 March and will close at midnight on 23 April 2024 (no registrations will be accepted after that time). Please ensure you enter all details required during the booking process as these are necessary for security at the venue.

 Entering the CJEU Building: Attendees must enter the building at the main entrance (Tower C). At the security entrance, you will be asked for a form of identification (ID card / Passport).

Arrival: To ensure that all attendees pass the security checks in time for the event, it is recommended that attendees arrive from 12.00 onwards (for those wishing to have lunch at the CJEU before the event). Alternatively, attendees should arrive no later than 13.00. Once inside the building, you will find signs guiding you to the event room (Hearing Room – Salle Bleue, Thomas More).

Registration inside the CJEU Building: To collect your name badge and a programme, all attendees must register outside the event room (Hearing Room – Salle Bleue, Thomas More). This registration will be possible from 13.45 onwards. The welcome address will be at 14.15, inside the hearing room.

Staying in Luxembourg – Hotels: There are a number of recommended hotels that are not far from the CJEU building.

 

Dinner: Experience an exclusive evening in the Salons of the Court of Justice, where culinary delights and vibrant social exchanges await. Enjoy the company of an esteemed guest list that includes members of the EU institutions, the European Circuit executive committee, and many more from across the EU legal community. Attendees will proceed to the Salons from 20.00 after the drinks reception.  Cost: €55.00

Cucumber Vichyssoise paired with tangy radish, creamy buffalo mozzarella, and delicate focaccia crisps.

Main Course
Guinea Fowl Supreme alongside rich eggplant caviar, crushed wheat with sun-dried tomatoes, and finished with a hint of Espelette pepper. OR
Spiced Roasted Cauliflower served in a fragrant lemongrass vegetable broth, accompanied by seaweed-infused basmati rice. (V)

As a non-profit organisation, the cost will cover the dinner, the service charge and will contribute to other expenses incurred in the organisation of this event.
