Berlin
On 19th April 2002 the English Bar visited the Berlin Bar. The event, entitled ‘Some Insights into German/British Litigation’ was organised by the International Relations Committee and the European Circuit. The programme included visits to civil and criminal courts accompanied by lawyers of the Berliner Anwaltsverein with joint discussions and briefings during the visit. In the afternoon there was a seminar on selected topics of Civil and Criminal Law, and the day was rounded off with a social event in the evening. Members of the BGCC were also invited to participate in the Friday programme.
