London (8 – 29/11/03)
This year’s conference will be looking at the issue of enlargement and the various opportunities and challenges for advocates.
May 2004 will mark the entry of 10 new countries into the EU and as such is unprecedented. The 10 new Member States, who have implemented to a greater extent the current acquis communautaire but have relatively little experience in applying it, will find themselves on a par with other Member States in terms of operating every day within the greater legal and political context that is the EU.
It is intended that the conference provides an opportunity for lawyers to discuss and exchange views on the effect the enlargement will have on legal practices across Europe.
5 CPD hours.
